Welcome — this website is operated by Science Artistry LLC of Washington State. By using it you agree to these terms. They're short, and written to protect the creative work this studio runs on.
1. The service
This site showcases Ayesa Kaur's artwork and teaching practice, offers a library of lesson pages (two free in full, the rest open to enrolled families), and lets you inquire about workshops, sessions, and enrollment. The site is provided as-is and may change as the studio grows.
2. Bookings & inquiries
Sending an inquiry is not a confirmed booking — workshops, sessions, and their pricing are arranged directly with Ayesa and confirmed by her reply. A place in an after-school program is enrolled and paid for online, under section 2a; a program's own dates, price and refund terms are stated on its card before you pay.
2a. Payments, cancellations & refunds
Enrollment in a program is paid online per child, at the price shown on the enrollment page. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Any refund goes back to the payment method you paid with.
- Each program states its own cancellation and refund terms on its enrollment card, before you pay — programs run under agreements with each school’s PTSA, so the terms can differ between programs.
- Where a program’s price includes a registration & materials fee, that part is marked non-refundable and is said so before you pay.
- If a program is canceled before it begins — for low enrollment or any other reason on our side — you receive a full refund.
- To ask about a refund, write to support@scienceartistry.com with the date and amount of the payment. Refunds agreed under a program’s terms are issued through Stripe, usually within 5–10 business days.
2b. Shop orders
Everything in the shop is made to order for you by our fulfillment partner, Printful, and paid for through Stripe. Shipping is added at checkout, and we ship to US addresses.
- No returns or exchanges. Because each item is printed just for you, we can't take it back for a change of mind or swap it for another size or color.
- Misprinted, damaged or defective items are replaced at no cost. Email support@scienceartistry.com with your order and photos within 30 days of receiving it, and we'll arrange a replacement.
- A parcel that never arrives is covered too, if you tell us within 30 days of its estimated delivery date.
2c. Accounts
- Anyone may open a family account to enroll a child. You are responsible for the email address you sign in with and for keeping a sign-in link to yourself; a link signs in whoever opens it.
- A child's own reading login exists only when a parent or guardian asks for one. It can read the family's lessons and keep a portfolio; it cannot pay, change the household, or publish anything.
- Lesson access follows the class: it opens when a place is paid for or joined with the class's code, and closes when the term's access window ends or a place is refunded under the program's terms.
- We may close an account that is used to misuse the site under section 4. Ask us to delete your account at any time and we will.
3. Lessons, artwork & intellectual property
- Everything original on this site — the artwork, photographs, lesson content, curriculum, writing, and design — is the work of Ayesa Kaur / Science Artistry LLC.
- Free lessons are offered for your personal use and for teaching your own children or your own classroom. Please don't republish them, sell them, or present them as your own.
- Full lesson access that comes with enrollment is for the enrolled student and family only — it isn't a license to redistribute or re-teach the material commercially.
- Educators or organizations who want to license curriculum for wider use: get in touch — Ayesa is happy to talk.
3a. Student profiles & private portfolios
Parents and guardians keep their child's contacts, dismissal plan and relevant health or support needs up to date in My Lessons. We may prefill these details from the program's registration service so you can review them instead of entering them again. Adding a contact does not give that person a login. Tell Ayesa directly about urgent changes or a change to today's pickup; saving a profile is not a substitute for arranging that change with the school.
Private artwork portfolios are included by default. Ayesa may photograph your child's artwork and add it to the family's private portfolio with the lesson, class date and learning notes. This is for your family's learning record, not public promotion. Parents or guardians can opt out of new private portfolio photos in the child's Profile & contacts, or contact Ayesa. Opting out does not affect the child's enrollment or access to lessons. Existing artwork remains available unless you ask us to remove it; an email already sent cannot be recalled.
Public sharing requires separate parent or guardian permission. A private portfolio, an unchecked opt-out box, or acceptance of these terms does not authorize us to use a child's artwork or photograph on the public website, social media, or promotional materials. You may withdraw public-sharing permission at any time. See our Privacy Policy for access, removal and data handling.
4. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the site — no scraping at scale, no attempting to access content or data that isn't yours, no abusive or fraudulent inquiries.
5. Reporting a security issue
If you find a security problem, please tell us first — via the contact form or support@scienceartistry.com — and give us a reasonable chance to fix it before sharing it publicly. Look only as far as needed to show the problem is real, and never access or keep someone else's data. Report in good faith and we won't pursue action against you for the research.
6. Disclaimers & liability
The site and its content are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Science Artistry LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site. Art materials are used at your own discretion — follow the safety guidance on product labels, especially with young children.
7. Changes
These terms may be updated as the studio grows. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms; the "Last updated" date above will reflect any revision.
