Sea turtle in the kelp
Sea turtles are reptiles that have swum the ocean since the time of the dinosaurs, and they are in trouble now: plastic, fishing nets, crowded coasts and a warming sea. Young turtles shelter in kelp, sargassum and seagrass. The words circling the painting are her haiku.
